KSB Omega pumps are single-stage double-suction pumps with a volute casing and a radial impeller.
They are used for pumping clean, untreated, seawater, and service water in hydraulic structures, power plants, fire-fighting systems, irrigation systems, marine applications, and oil refineries.
Shaft sealing type: gland packing or mechanical seal. To protect the shaft in the sealing area, protective sleeves are installed to ensure proper centering of the mechanical seals. In the KSB Omega 150-605 B DD35 G1 pump, the mechanical seal item 433 is of type M74N4/070 Q1Q1VMG4 01162414. Due to the symmetrical pump design, two such mechanical seals are used.
