They are made by turning from pure Teflon (PTFE, PTFE) or Teflon filled with glass fibre, carbon fibre, bronze. This manufacturing method allows us to produce cuffs with diameters ranging from 4 mm to 1500 mm.
With the correct selection of the O-ring, the operating temperature of use is -60/+200 °C.

What are PTFE rotary seals?
Rotary seals made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) are specialised sealing elements used to ensure the tightness of rotating shafts in various machinery. PTFE is a material with unique properties such as:
- High chemical resistance: PTFE does not react with most chemicals, making it ideal for use in aggressive environments.
- Low friction: This allows you to reduce the wear of parts and increase the service life of the seal.
- Wide range of operating temperatures: PTFE is resistant to both low and high temperatures.
- Electrical isolation: Prevents the occurrence of electrical discharges.

Application
PTFE rotary seals are widely used in a variety of industries:
- Oil and gas industry: for sealing pumps, compressors, valves.
- Chemical industry: for equipment working with aggressive environments.
- Pharmaceutical industry: for the production of medicines.
- Food industry: for equipment in contact with food products.
- Mechanical engineering: for various types of industrial pumps and compressors.

Advantages of PTFE rotary seals:
- High reliability and durability.
- Low operating costs.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions.
- A wide range of sizes and designs.
Choice of PTFE rotary seal
The following factors must be considered when selecting a PTFE rotary seal:
- Working environment: Pressure, temperature, chemical aggressiveness.
- Speed of shaft rotation.
- Permissible leaks.
- Overall dimensions.
