Installation of a mechanical seal for a Salvatore Robuschi RBB 200-35BR 6C30 C181 3 pump

The Salvatore Robuschi RB (RBB-RBL-RBM) pumps are centrifugal pumps with a channel impeller designed according to ISO 5199 standards.

Various types of mechanical seals are used in these pumps in different configurations. The cylindrical seal chamber is built in accordance with EN 12756 standards. Single mechanical seals, double mechanical seals (tandem or back-to-back), or packing seals — all these configurations can be modified by the user using the same casing cover, replacing only a few parts. The pumps can also be equipped with flushing systems compliant with API 682 standards (such as PLAN 11, PLAN 52, PLAN 53, PLAN 54).

In this case, the pump uses a type C sealing system — that is, a double mechanical seal in a back-to-back configuration.

• Group 2 (RBB 65-20, 80-20, 80-25, 100-25, 125-25) — 43 mm
• Group 3 (RBB 80-31, 125-31, 125-40, 150-31) — 53 mm
• Group 4 (RBB 150-35, 200-35, 250-35) — 70 mm
• Group 5 (RBB 200-45, 250-45, 300-45, 300-46) — 90 mm
• Group 6 (RBB 400-60) — 100 mm

The flushing pressure should be 0.5 bar higher than the working medium pressure.
