Types of mechanical seals for pumps TP Series 300.

For pumps with a pressure of up to 16 bar, unbalanced mechanical seals are used:

• BAQE - bellows seal with graphite/silicon carbide friction pairs and rubber elements made of EPDM.
• BQQE – bellows seal with silicon carbide/silicon carbide contact surfaces and secondary seals made of EPDM (for liquids containing abrasives).

For pumps with a maximum pressure of 25 bar, balanced mechanical seals are used:

• DAQF – mechanical seal with graphite/silicon carbide materials and secondary seals made of FXM (Fluoraz®, FEPM, tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber).
• DQQE – balanced seal with EPDM O-rings and silicon carbide/silicon carbide friction pairs.
• DBUE – this is a relieved mechanical seal made of graphite/tungsten carbide materials and secondary seals made of EPDM (for inch sizes).

We carried out the replacement of the Kit, Shaft seal DBUE 2 1/2" PT/CarTcEP/PG mechanical seal 96121648.
