Description
The R-GTZ mechanical seal is used in Goetze, Fristam pumps. The design of the mechanical seal consists of two parts: a moving and a stationary part. The stationary part is a ring that is fixed in the pump housing. The moving part is mounted on the shaft and is pressed against the stationary part by a spring. The mechanical seal is sealed using secondary seals (bellows, rubber rings) and friction pairs.
